A very delicious white hot chocolate recipe with a holiday twist! This Eggnog White Hot Chocolate is a super creamy and rich drink to enjoy on Christmas morning or during the cold winter nights!

Eggnog White Hot Chocolate

The holiday season is finally upon us and nothing says holidays like a nice big cup of eggnog! Today I decided to add some white chocolate and a touch of rum extract to that cup of eggnog to create the ultimate holiday drink!

Eggnog White Hot Chocolate

I love the smell of eggnog, it just makes me feel all warm and cozy inside and out. I’m not an eggnog expert, so I’m not sure if it’s meant to be enjoyed hot or cold.

But since the icy grip of Winter has officially taken over (and there’s no better feeling than enjoying a hot drink to warm you up from said chill), I decided to take 2 of the best Winter drinks: Eggnog and Hot Chocolate, and combine them to create this Eggnog White Hot Chocolate!

Eggnog White Hot Chocolate

Eggnog White Hot Chocolate

This Eggnog White Hot Chocolate is super creamy, thick and smooth! It’s a dream come true for both your tastebuds and your nose! It completely captures the essence of Christmas which makes it the perfect drink to enjoy throughout the season!

And the best part is, only 3 ingredients are required! Eggnog, white chocolate and rum extract are all you need to make this rich drink, and the rum extract is totally optional, so you basically only need 2-ingredients!

Eggnog White Hot Chocolate

To make the hot chocolate, simply combine the eggnog, white chocolate and rum extract in a saucepan and heat while stirring until chocolate is melted. That’s it! It’s really that easy!

I usually top off my hot chocolates with mini marshmallows or a generous swirl of whipped cream, but not this time. This hot chocolate is perfect on its own and doesn’t need any of that getting in its way. A cinnamon stick and some freshly grated nutmeg is all you need and you’re ready to experience the taste of Christmas in a mug!

Enjoy!
